You finally scanned the whole contract — 25 pages, one PDF. But pages 14 and 15 are blank, and the first two pages are the scanner's own cover sheet. The document is fine, except for the pages nobody should see. So what do you do? Re-scan everything? Ask the sender to fix it? No — you delete the unwanted pages and keep the rest.

Deleting pages from a PDF means building a new copy of the document with only the pages you want. It takes seconds, it's free, and there's nothing to install.

The Steps (Dead Easy)

  1. Add your PDF. Drop one PDF into the tool above — it opens right in your browser. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
  2. See every page. The tool shows each page as a small preview card, numbered in order, so you can spot the troublemakers visually.
  3. Tap pages to remove. Tap any page preview to mark it for deletion — it dims and gets a red "Removed" badge. Tap again to undo. A counter tells you "Keeping X of Y pages" as you go.
  4. Name your file in the Delete settings box, if you like.
  5. Hit "Delete pages & download." You get a brand-new PDF with only the pages you kept.

When Deleting Helps

Clean up scanned documents. Scans come with junk: blank pages, the scanner's cover sheet, a thumb over the lens on page 7, a crooked page you rescanned better later. Remove them and the document looks like you did it properly the first time.

Trim a document before sharing. The report is 40 pages, but your client only needs the summary and the appendix. Send them the 8 pages that matter instead of the whole thing.

Fix wrong pages in a form. A form pack often includes pages that don't apply to you — delete them before filling and printing, so nobody gets confused.

Make the file smaller. Fewer pages, smaller file. Deleting half the pages of a scanned PDF can cut its size in half before you email it.

Remove sensitive pages. A bank statement with one page of account details you don't want to share? Delete that page from the copy you send. (Important: see the safety note below — deleting pages is not the same as redaction.)

Good to Know

Your original is untouched. Deleting pages builds a brand-new PDF. Your source file stays exactly as it was, so you can always go back and try a different selection.

Deleting pages is NOT redaction. Removing a page takes the whole page out — that's great for blank or unwanted pages. But if you only need to hide one paragraph or one number on a page, deleting the page deletes the rest of it too. For true redaction (blacking out parts of a page so they can never be recovered), you need a redaction tool, not a page remover. And one rule of thumb: always share the new copy, never the original, once you've removed sensitive pages.

You cannot delete every page. A PDF needs at least one page — the tool blocks you from removing all of them, politely, before anything downloads.

Remaining pages stay in order. Page order is preserved: if you delete pages 2 and 4 from a 5-page PDF, the result contains pages 1, 3, and 5, in that order.

Quality is preserved. Pages are copied as-is, not re-rendered. Text stays selectable, images stay crisp — removing pages doesn't degrade the ones you keep.

Encrypted PDFs won't work. If a PDF asks for a password, the tool can't read it — it will tell you so. Open the file in your PDF reader, save a copy without the password, and use that copy instead.

Common Questions

Is deleting PDF pages free?

Yes. No account, no watermark, no limits games. Clean up as many PDFs as you like.

Do my files get uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens inside your browser tab, on your own device. Your documents never travel to a server.

Can I undo a deletion after downloading?

After you download, the new file is permanent — but nothing is lost. Your original PDF was never changed, so you can go back, pick different pages, and build a different copy.

Can I delete all pages?

No. A PDF must contain at least one page, so the tool stops you from removing every page and asks you to keep at least one.

What order do the remaining pages come in?

Original document order. Only the marked pages are skipped; everything else stays exactly where it was.

What about password-protected PDFs?

The tool can't read them. Unlock the file first (open it in your PDF reader and save a copy without the password), then delete pages from the copy.

That's the whole trick: keep the pages that matter, drop the ones that don't, and share the clean copy.
